no aspnetdb database created

I have followed the instructions but do not see an aspnetdb created.

I have the following databases that seem to be created:

WSS_Content
WSS_Config
StarterKitDB

I changed the web.config references to StarterKitDB but still receive the error:
Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open database "aspnetdb" requested by the login. The login failed.

Would the aspnetdb database be hardcoded somewhere in the source code?

Thanks for any information.

Looking at the install script I noticed that the command:

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnetregsql -A all -E

was not creating the aspnetdb. When I tried the command manually I received the error:

An error has occurred. Details of the exception:
A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the pre-login handshake. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)
Unable to connect to SQL Server database.

When I included the -S <server name> flag in the command the database was created successfully.

Thanks

An alternative of including -S is to enable Named Pipes in your SQL Server.
